WRITING A PROJECT AWARD APPLICATION TRAINING

Wednesday 20 Jul 2016
10am - 4pm
Irish Theatre Institute

An Irish Theatre Institute Artist Supports & Training workshop.

Are you a professional theatre artist/company planning to apply to the Arts Council’s Theatre Project Awards in August 2016? Do you know what your project is but you’re having difficulties articulating it? Do you need assistance in identifying the most appropriate funding strand? Are you struggling with putting together a proposed budget? Need help in just how to begin tackling the application process♣

Irish Theatre Institute invites applications for its intensive grant application training workshop which aims to offer artists and companies the necessary tools for writing applications and preparing realistic budgets.

  • What is your project and what Award Strand best suits your application?
  • How do you describe yourself, your work, your project?
  • Does your project meet the Award assessment criteria?
  • Who are your artistic collaborators and your presenting partners?
  • How have you scheduled a realistic timeline for your project?
  • What are the financial needs of your project?
  • Have you got all the supporting material you need to ensure your application is eligible?

These are just some of the questions that will be addressed in this interactive Project Award Application Training Workshop.
