SIX IN THE ATTIC – UPCOMING PRODUCTIONS!

It has been an exceptionally busy time for our Six in the Attic artists recently and they have a range of productions opening this June.

Elaine Murphy’s new play Shussh opens on June 12th on the Abbey’s main stage. This is a new comedy by the award winning playwright who wrote Little Gem. Sussh will run until July 20th and tickets can be booked through the Abbey website or by calling +353 (0)1 87 87 222.

Amy Conroy’s extensive tour contiunes with HotForTheatre’s I ♣ Alice ♣ I playing the Town Hall Galway from 13th-15th June, the Hawkswell, Sligo on 18th June, Glór, Ennis 20th of June, The Firkin Crane, Cork, as part of Cork Midsummer Festival from 21st-23rd June, the Riverbank, Kildare, on the 25th of June and the Clonmel 06ction Festival from 7-9th of July! Conor Hanratty is currently directing Maria de Buenos Aires which will run from the 19th-23rd of June in Cork Opera House as part of Cork Midsummer Festival.

Ray Scannell will present his new play DEEP, also as part of Cork Midsummer Festival from 21st-30th of June at the Half Moon Theatre. DEEP is driected by one of our Attic Alumni Louise Lowe, from ANU Productions.

ITI would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our Six in the Attic participant, Rachel Murray, on her appointment as Artist Development and Touring at the Gate Theatre. Rachel has been a member of the Six in the Attic mentoring and resource sharing scheme since January 2013 and was a very activice participant. The ITI team and everyone in the Attic wish her all the very best in her new position at the Gate.
