Six in the Attic provides creative and physical space for artists and companies at a particular stage of development.  Based at ITI, the scheme allows participants to engage, explore, develop, debate and to concentrate on their projects and ideas. The practical supports comprise individual desk space with Wifi, photocopying, printing and access to larger rooms for meetings, readings and project development. Crucially, these resources are complemented by ITI’s extensive in-house expertise and we provide a bespoke mentoring programme covering the areas of professional development, producing, funding applications, strategic thinking, touring (national/international), networking and financial planning. Additional specialist expertise is provided by industry leaders on a bi-monthly basis.

Six in the Attic (2012) has been enormously successful and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented and creative group of people. Some will remain with us for another year and others are moving on to new projects and pastures. ITI will continue to support Andrew Adamson and Theatre Lovett with their work as they are key members of the ITI theatre family. We look forward to working with the 2013 participants and will help and support them in realising their artistic and entrepreneurial aims in the coming 12 months.
