IRISH TIMES THEATRE AWARDS 2011

Irish Theatre Institute would like to congratulate all of the Irish Times Theatre Award nominees. We are particularly delighted for our Six in the Attic and Show in a Bag participants who were nominated in the following categories.

Best Production – Laundry, written and directed by Louise Lowe for ANU Productions.

Best Director – Louise Lowe for Laundry, written by Louise Lowe, produced by ANU Productions.

Best Actress – Amy Conroy as Gina Devine in Eternal Rising of The Sun, written by Amy Conroy, HotForTheatre, directed by Veronica Coburn and produced by Irish Theatre Institute.

Best New Play – Fight Night, written by Gavin Kostick, directed by Bryan Burroughs, originally produced as part of Show in a Bag 2010.

Show in a Bag is an artist development initiative of Dublin Fringe Festival, Fishamble: The New Play Company and to resource theatre makers and actors.
