Project Award Application Training

Wednesday 18 Feb 2015
10.00am - 4.00pm
Irish Theatre Institute

Applying for a Theatre Project Award? Are you a Self-Producing Artist? The Grant Application Training is for YOU. Irish Theatre Institute invites applications from self-producing artists planning to apply to the Arts Council's Theatre Project Awards in March 2015.

  • What Project Award Strand best suits your application?
  • What do innovation, experimentation and collaboration mean?
  • How do you describe your work and how does your project meet the Award assessment criteria?
  • What are the financial needs of your project and what is your targeted audience?
  • Have you identified your artistic collaborators and your presenting partners?
  • Have you got all the supporting material you need to ensure you application is eligible?
  • Hear a short case study presentation from a self-producing artist who recently applied for a Theatre Project Award and why they think they were successful.

This six-hour intensive grant application training workshop on Wednesday 18th February will help you to answer those questions and plan your application carefully and in an organised fashion. We cannot guarantee a successful application but the knowledge and practice gained will assist with this and other applications in future.

The training workshop will have a maximum of 10 participants. Please note that this is not training for Producers.
