ABOUT THE EVENT

International Theatre eXchange (ITX) 2014

Friday 3 Oct 2014
10.15am - 4pm
Wood Quay Venue, Dublin

Irish Theatre Institute, in partnership with Culture Ireland and Dublin Theatre Festival, presents International Theatre eXchange (ITX), a programme of pitching, showcasing and networking for this year's presenters and producers from around the world.

In comparison to previous years, International Theatre eXchange 2014 will be a scaled-down event in response to the funding limitations being faced this year. This change in ITX has been reflected in a significant reduction of the registration fee to attend the networking sessions. While, ITX 2014 will not include its usual panel discussions and bespoke one-to-one meetings with international presenters, it will firmly place an emphasis on networking sessions and brokering introductions. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for our international guests to see the broad range of work by Irish artists being presented in the official DTF programme as well as the “In-Development” presentations.

Since its inception in 1994, ITI has pioneered international networking and promotion for Irish theatre companies and artists. During ITX 2014, influential performing arts presenters and producers from Ireland and abroad will engage with Irish companies and artists participating in the Dublin Theatre Festival.

International guests’ participation supported by Culture Ireland.

Venue kindly sponsored by the Dublin City Council Arts Office.

Limited capacity.  Registration essential. Cost: &euro20
